Growing national private companies team seeks a 3rd–6th year associate to advise venture-backed and high-growth companies and their investors. The role focuses on counseling early-stage and growth-stage companies across their life cycle, including venture financings and liquidity events.

Associates will work on a mix of transactional matters, have opportunities to help build and run a practice within the group, and contribute to a national platform of private companies work. The team handles a high-volume, sophisticated deal flow for disruptive companies and institutional investors.

JD and admission or eligibility to be admitted in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
3–6 years of substantive experience advising early-stage and growth-stage companies, including venture capital financings and liquidity transactions
Experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm
Strong academic record, excellent drafting and transactional skills, and ability to manage client relationships
