Top-tier private companies team in San Diego is seeking a 3rd–6th year associate to advise early-stage and growth-stage companies and their investors. The role focuses on venture-backed clients and covers general corporate matters across the company lifecycle.

Primary work will include venture capital financings, secondary/liquidity transactions and other transactional matters. The position offers opportunity to develop a client-facing practice, contribute to thought leadership and participate in firm‑wide private companies initiatives.

3–6 years of substantive transactional experience with early-stage and growth-stage companies
Demonstrated experience representing venture-backed companies and participating in VC financings and liquidity events
Background in the corporate department of a national or international law firm
Strong academic credentials and proven transactional skillset
