Associate — Private Wealth Disputes, London (NQ–1 PQE)

A growing Private Wealth Disputes team in central London is seeking an NQ–1 PQE litigation associate to join its disputes practice. The team handles trust, estate and succession disputes, including sensitive matters involving wills, mental capacity and breach of trust claims, often with cross-border elements.

The role offers early responsibility on a mix of high-value, complex matters and smaller files for which you will take primary case management responsibility. Day-to-day work includes client liaison, drafting, case progression, costs monitoring and attending meetings and hearings, with opportunities to work alongside specialist teams on related issues (tax, reputation, art and luxury assets).

The team values pragmatic dispute resolution but will litigate robustly when required. There are also opportunities to contribute to business development, internal knowledge-sharing groups and external networking.

• NQ to 1 year PQE in litigation or private client disputes.
• Experience or exposure to trusts disputes, wills/succession, administration of multi-jurisdictional estates, Court of Protection work, injunctions or mental capacity matters.
• Strong academic background and excellent written/verbal communication skills; attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload, work to tight deadlines and engage in business development and team initiatives.
