Associate — Professional Liability (Leeds or Newcastle)

Experienced insurance litigator wanted to join a busy professional liability team handling complex professional indemnity matters for insurers and insured professionals. The role sits across Leeds and Newcastle on a hybrid basis.

You will manage a varied caseload from inception to resolution, with a particular emphasis on construction-related professional liability claims. Work includes advising on coverage and liability, drafting pleadings and witness statements, and supporting client relationship activity.

The team is collaborative and technically focused, offering development through hands-on work, internal mentoring and cross-team support across wider insurance practices.

• Solicitor qualified with 3+ years PQE
• Experience in professional indemnity, insurance litigation or complex commercial disputes
• Familiarity with construction-related professional liability matters preferred
• Strong technical drafting, analytical and client-facing skills; able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team
