An opportunity for an Associate to join a Projects & Infrastructure team in Birmingham supporting a strong pipeline of UK government-led and energy & infrastructure project work. The role sits within a multi-jurisdictional projects group that operates across UK and international markets and draws on specialist procurement, project finance and construction expertise.

The role will involve advising on UK domestic energy, infrastructure and defence-related projects, working on project development matters from procurement and project contracts through construction and operation. You will collaborate with colleagues across related specialist teams and support a mix of government and sponsor/developer-side mandates.

  • Qualified solicitor with approximately 2 years' PQE.
  • Experience advising on project agreements such as PPP/PFI, PPAs, EPC and O&M contracts.
  • Familiarity with UK public procurement processes and single-source negotiations is desirable.
  • Relevant sector experience (government, defence or nuclear) or project finance/ construction exposure advantageous; strong project management and commercial contracting skills; willingness to participate in business development.
