Associate — Public Company M&A, New York

Top-tier corporate team in New York is seeking a mid-level associate to support public company mergers & acquisitions. The role focuses on drafting and negotiating principal acquisition agreements and handling complex transactional work for public-company clients.

Successful candidates will join a collaborative, high-volume practice offering exposure to sophisticated cross-border and domestic deals, with mentorship and formal development resources. The office operates on a hybrid schedule with regular in‑office presence.

• JD and active admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
• Approximately 4 years of experience in public company M&A at a major law firm (AmLaw 100 or comparable)
• Proven experience drafting principal acquisition agreements and participating in direct negotiations
• Strong legal writing, deal execution, and commercial judgment; ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
