Seeking a 3–5 year associate to join a national Investment Funds group in the Registered Funds practice based in Los Angeles. The role focuses on formation, structuring and ongoing counsel for retail and alternative registered products.

Work will include advising on mutual funds, ETFs, listed closed‑end funds and alternative registered vehicles such as interval/tender offer funds, BDCs and REITs, together with related regulatory, compliance and distribution matters. Experience with public company reporting and capital markets matters is a plus.

3–5 years’ experience in a recognized investment funds practice, with substantial registered funds experience
Experience forming and structuring mutual funds, ETFs, closed‑end funds and alternative registered products (e.g., BDCs, REITs, interval/tender offer funds)
Familiarity with regulatory, compliance and distribution issues for U.S. and cross‑border funds; public company reporting or capital markets experience a plus
Juris Doctor and admission (or prompt eligibility) to a U.S. state bar or DC bar
Strong analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication, and strong academic credentials
