Leading global investment funds practice seeks a 3–5 year associate to join its Registered Funds team in New York. The role focuses on formation, structuring and ongoing advice for a broad range of retail and alternative registered products, including mutual funds, ETFs, listed closed-end funds, interval and tender-offer funds, BDCs and REITs.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrable private practice experience in investment management and registered funds work, strong regulatory and compliance instincts, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Admission to a U.S. state bar or the D.C. bar (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) is required.

3–5 years' PQE in a recognized investment funds practice, with registered funds experience
Experience with mutual funds, ETFs, listed closed-end funds and alternative registered products (e.g., BDCs, REITs, interval/tender-offer funds)
Familiarity with U.S. regulatory, compliance and distribution issues; public company reporting or capital markets experience a plus
Juris Doctor and state or D.C. bar admission (or eligibility) and strong academic credentials
Excellent analytical, drafting and interpersonal skills
