Top-tier international law firm seeks a 3–5 year associate to join its Registered Funds practice in the Investment Funds group. The role will be based in the Washington, D.C. office (with opportunities to collaborate across other U.S. offices) and focuses on formation, structuring and ongoing counsel for retail and alternative registered fund products.

Work will involve advising on mutual funds, ETFs, listed closed-end funds and alternative registered structures such as interval/tender offer funds, business development companies (BDCs), REITs and holding-company arrangements. Experience on regulatory, compliance, distribution and public company reporting or capital markets matters is highly valued.

3–5 years post-qualification experience in a recognized investment funds practice
Strong experience forming and structuring registered funds (mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds) and alternative registered products (BDCs, REITs, interval/tender offer funds)
Familiarity with regulatory, compliance and distribution matters; U.S. and cross-border experience a plus
Excellent analytical, writing and verbal communication skills; strong academic credentials
Juris Doctor and admission to a U.S. bar or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
