Join a global law firm’s Financial Restructuring & Insolvency team in Houston handling sophisticated domestic and cross-border restructuring matters. The role focuses on Chapter 11 work, out-of-court restructurings and Chapter 15 issues, with exposure to financing, claims processes and plan confirmation.

Typical responsibilities include drafting pleadings, disclosure statements and plan documents; researching and advising on Bankruptcy Code and related statutory issues; negotiating DIP financing, cash collateral and adequate protection; coordinating cross-border insolvency workstreams; and working closely with financial advisors and experts.

This is a collaborative, training-focused role for an associate who wants to deepen technical bankruptcy expertise, take ownership of complex assignments, and participate directly in high‑stakes restructuring matters.

2–4 years’ post-qualification experience in bankruptcy, restructuring or related practice
Strong academic credentials and solid grounding in commercial law and the US Bankruptcy Code
Proven drafting and research skills (motions, pleadings, disclosure statements, memoranda)
Experience with Chapter 11 matters, DIP financing, claims processes and cross‑border insolvency preferred
Ability to manage multiple workstreams, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively with teams and external advisors
