The team advises stakeholders across complex domestic and cross-border restructurings, insolvency proceedings, distressed financings, and strategic distressed M&A.
This position is for candidates completing judicial clerkships who seek hands-on experience on high‑stakes restructuring matters and regular collaboration with tax, M&A, private equity, capital markets, and debt finance teams across major financial centers.
The firm awards progression credit and a clerkship bonus to associates who have completed qualifying clerkships. Applications are being accepted for 2026 associate starts in the Restructuring & Special Situations group.
- Minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience; judicial clerkship required/strongly preferred
- Background in bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency, or distressed finance matters
- Demonstrated ability to work on complex, multi‑party matters and to collaborate across practice groups
- Excellent legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills
