Top-tier restructuring team in Orange County is seeking an associate to join its Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice. The role focuses on financings and liability-management work in both chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

Successful candidates will work on financings at the top of the capital structure, including debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings, bankruptcy exit financings and special-situations financings, and will counsel financial institutions such as hedge funds, CLOs and private investment vehicles in restructuring contexts.

Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to the relevant state bar or ability to obtain admission.
Law school class years 2019–2023 preferred.
Experience representing creditors or borrowers on DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, liability-management transactions and/or special-situations financings.
Strong drafting, analytical and client-communication skills; ability to work in fast-paced, deal-driven matters and on cross-functional teams.
