Associate — Restructuring & Special Situations Finance, Palo Alto

Seeking a finance associate (law school class years 2019–2023) to join a market-leading business restructuring and reorganization group in Palo Alto. The role focuses on distressed and special-situations financings across in-court and out-of-court restructurings.

Successful candidates will have substantial experience representing creditors or borrowers on liability-management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings and related special-situations financings. The position offers exposure to top-of-capital-structure work for financial counterparties such as hedge funds, CLO managers, private equity funds and other financial institutions.

• Law degree (JD) from an accredited law school; law school class years 2019–2023 preferred
• Significant experience with DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, liability-management transactions or distressed-debt work
• Strong drafting, transactional and analytical skills; ability to work collaboratively on complex, fast-moving matters
• Prior experience with creditor-side or borrower-side restructurings and special-situations financings
