Associate — Restructuring & Special Situations, New York

Well-established international corporate practice seeks a lateral associate to join its New York restructuring and special situations group. The team advises on a range of distressed and workout matters, including restructurings, distressed-debt transactions and related corporate work for borrowers, creditors and other stakeholders.

The role offers significant exposure to high‑stakes, cross‑border matters and collaboration with experienced partners across finance, litigation and insolvency practices. The team is active on both in‑court and out‑of‑court restructurings and frequently works with leading financial institutions and sponsors.

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active NY bar admission (or intent to obtain)
• Prior experience in restructuring, distressed‑debt or bankruptcy matters — transactional and/or restructuring litigation exposure preferred
• Strong drafting, analytical and client‑service skills; ability to manage demanding matters and multiple stakeholders
• Comfort working on cross‑border and multi‑disciplinary teams
