A leading Australian law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Banking & Finance team in Sydney. The role will focus on transactional banking work, advising lenders and borrowers on commercial loan facilities and related security arrangements.

The successful candidate will work on a mix of domestic and cross‑border matters alongside a market‑recognised team, supporting deal execution and client relationship management. The role offers exposure to complex financings and the opportunity for genuine responsibility on transactions.

Qualified solicitor admitted or eligible to practise in Australia.
Demonstrable experience on banking and finance transactions (drafting facility/documentation, due diligence and security work).
Strong commercial judgment, drafting skills and the ability to manage fee earners on deals.
Team‑oriented, client‑facing approach and willingness to work on high‑intensity transactions.
