A well-regarded international law practice is hiring an Associate or Senior Associate to join its clinical negligence team in Birmingham (hybrid working). The role involves handling NHS Resolution clinical negligence claims and inquests, with exposure to complex, high‑profile matters across the healthcare sector.

You will join a busy healthcare division that advises NHS bodies, trusts and insurers on medical malpractice and related regulatory issues. The team provides defendant-side litigation and inquest representation and is frequently instructed on sensitive, high-stakes matters.

This is a development-focused role offering broad case exposure, client-facing responsibility and opportunities for progression across multiple UK offices (Birmingham, Cambridge, Newcastle, Sheffield).

NQ–10 years' PQE (candidates with ~4+ years' clinical negligence experience are particularly welcome)
Experience of medical malpractice/clinical negligence claims and inquest work
Familiarity with NHS Resolution processes and insurance/coverage issues
Strong client contact skills and ability to attend business development events
