Join a national commercial team as an Associate or Senior Associate specialising in commercial and strategic contracts. The role sits within a Strategic Contracts workstream and can be based in Birmingham (with alternative locations available), supporting regional, national and international clients across sectors such as transport, utilities and industrial engineering.

Day-to-day work ranges from business-as-usual contract drafting and negotiation to large-scale outsourcing and supply-chain arrangements. You will work closely with corporate and real estate teams, collaborate with colleagues across offices and jurisdictions, and contribute to business development and client-facing initiatives.

Qualified solicitor with 2–6 years PQE in commercial/contract work
Strong drafting, negotiation and technical contract law skills
Experience advising on strategic/outsourcing or supply‑chain contracts desirable
Commercial awareness, excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Strong communication and relationship-building skills; willingness to participate in business development
At Senior Associate level: experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers and supporting client development
