A full-time Associate or Senior Associate role is available in a national competition and consumer law team based in Melbourne. You will work on merger clearances, ACCC investigations, competition-related litigation, authorisations and consumer protection matters for domestic and international clients.

The team is collaborative and highly specialised, advising corporate clients, international firms and government on complex competition matters. The role offers exposure to industry-leading mandates, involvement in cross-office work and opportunities to use AI tools and other technologies to improve legal delivery.

Minimum 4 years' post-admission legal experience
Admission/qualification in Australia, UK, NZ, Hong Kong or South Africa; or US/European qualification with substantial competition experience and willingness to obtain relevant Australian qualifications
Proven experience advising on competition and consumer law matters, including merger clearances and investigations
Strong technical, analytical and drafting skills with ability to work to tight deadlines
Excellent client-facing, communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and offices; interest in business development (presentations, training, publications)
