Associate / Senior Associate, Corporate — M&A & Capital Markets (Melbourne)

Join a Band 1 corporate team in Melbourne working on public and private M&A, private equity, equity capital markets and broader corporate advisory and governance matters. You will work across offices with senior lawyers on complex, market-leading transactions and gain exposure to a wide range of sectors including energy, infrastructure, financial services, health, mining, media, technology and retail.

This is a permanent, full-time role with hybrid and flexible working arrangements. The team supports career development through structured learning, mentoring and international secondment opportunities via a global alliance.

• Experience in a top-tier corporate M&A and capital markets practice (private practice or a mix of private practice and in‑house).
• Proven ability to manage smaller matters and take ownership of elements of larger transactions.
• Strong academic record and excellent technical skills in corporate law and securities work.
• Motivated to learn, develop, network and mentor others; collaborative team player.
