National law firm seeks an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Melbourne energy team focused on energy transition and renewable projects. The role will advise on commercial transactions, project development, regulatory matters and financing matters across the renewable energy and broader energy transition sector.

The team works across corporate, commercial and regulatory issues for developers, investors and industry participants. This role offers exposure to multidisciplinary deal work and the opportunity to develop sector expertise in areas such as wind, solar, storage and grid integration.

Admitted lawyer in Australia (or eligible for admission).
Demonstrable experience advising on energy or renewable projects, commercial transactions or regulatory matters.
Strong drafting, negotiation and commercial advisory skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in deal teams and manage client-facing responsibilities.
