Associate / Senior Associate – General Insurance (Perth)

Experienced insurance litigation lawyer sought for a General Insurance team in Perth. The role focuses on defendant-side advice and courtroom work in general liability, product liability, casualty and property-damage matters, with clear opportunities for progression and hands-on file responsibility.

The team handles high-volume insurer work and appears regularly in state courts. The position offers hybrid working, flexible hours (minimum 0.6 FTE considered), and structured learning and development support.

• Minimum 4 years post-admission experience advising on defendant insurance matters (personal injury / general liability preferred); plaintiff-side candidates open to transition considered.
• Proven experience managing files through court proceedings and preparing evidence, court documents and briefs for counsel.
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills; ability to work autonomously and mentor junior lawyers.
• Ability to prioritise and manage a high-volume caseload.
