Associate / Senior Associate — Planning & Environment, Brisbane

A Brisbane-based opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a market-leading planning and environment team within a large national commercial practice. The team advises public and private sector clients across development strategy, statutory planning, infrastructure, environmental and cultural heritage matters, and appears in planning & environment courts.

The role offers exposure to advisory and litigious work, regular client engagement across multiple matters, and structured mentoring from senior planning specialists. The team is small, collaborative and focused on growing its Queensland practice.

• 3–7 years post-admission experience in planning & environment law (private practice or government experience preferred)
• Practical experience or strong interest in land use, statutory planning and zoning matters
• Willingness to undertake planning & environment Court work or develop advocacy experience
• Strong drafting, project management and client-facing skills; self-motivated and able to work across multiple matters
• Based in Brisbane and able to work collaboratively in a small team
