Join a national public-sector practice advising contracting authorities and strategic suppliers on complex procurement matters. The role sits within a dedicated Procurement Centre of Excellence and involves a mix of advisory, drafting and training work across contentious and non-contentious procurement.

Work will include advising on procurement strategy and implementation, preparing procurement documents and notices, advising on direct awards and contract modifications under the Procurement Act 2023, and contributing to thought leadership and training for clients and colleagues. Flexible hybrid working is offered from regional offices (including Manchester).

  • Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with substantial public procurement experience.
  • Proven experience advising central or local government, public bodies and/or suppliers on procurement law.
  • Practical knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023, contract modification and direct award processes.
  • Strong drafting and presentation skills; experience producing guidance, training or client-facing materials.
