Associate / Senior Associate — Tax (Sydney)

An established Sydney law practice is recruiting an Associate or Senior Associate to join its tax team. The role will involve advising on a range of Australian tax matters across commercial transactions, structuring and compliance, and working closely with domestic deal teams.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team handling client-facing advisory work and contributing to technical research, client memoranda and cross-practice projects. This is a good opportunity to develop a specialist tax practice within a well-regarded national firm.

• Qualified lawyer admitted in Australia with several years' post-qualification tax experience.
• Solid technical knowledge of Australian tax law and experience on transactional and advisory matters.
• Strong drafting, research and communication skills; able to work directly with partners and clients.
• Team-player with the ability to manage matter workflows and deliver to deadlines.
