Associate / Senior Associate, Technology & Data Privacy — Melbourne

Join a national Technology, Media & IP team growing its capability across technology, data privacy and cyber security. This role sits on the team advising commercial clients on privacy compliance, data security risk and technology transactions.

The team handles a mix of advisory and transactional work, including drafting and negotiating technology agreements, privacy policies and incident response support. You will work with senior lawyers across offices on market-facing matters and help develop the practice.

• Qualified lawyer admitted in Australia with relevant post-qualification experience in technology / privacy matters
• Practical experience advising on privacy & data protection, data‑security measures and technology contracts
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client-facing skills; comfortable in a team-led national practice
• Ability to manage multiple matters and contribute to business development and knowledge sharing
