Join a growing Shipping, Trade & Commodities team in Singapore advising on a full range of dry shipping, international trade and commodities matters. The role covers both contentious and transactional work, including charterparty and bills of lading disputes, cargo claims, shipbuilding and multi‑jurisdictional arbitration, acting for owners, charterers, cargo interests, brokers and insurers.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers across the region, managing their own matters while contributing to larger, complex cases. The team offers significant client exposure, a commercially focused approach and a collaborative environment with support for professional development.

  • 3–5+ years PQE in dry shipping and/or international trade disputes (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven academic credentials (e.g. minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent).
  • Excellent English communication skills; Mandarin ability an advantage.
  • Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills; comfortable preparing correspondence, reports and litigation documents.
  • Ability to manage a caseload, work to tight deadlines and respond quickly in high‑pressure situations.
  • Team‑oriented, self‑motivated, and willing to support business development activities.
