Leading London finance team is recruiting a transactional associate to join its structured finance and securitization practice, with a particular focus on collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). The practice acts for a broad range of market participants on cross-border and domestic structured capital markets and financing transactions.

Work will cover CLOs and other securitizations (cash and synthetic), whole-business and asset-backed structures, and related commercial, insolvency and tax issues. You will collaborate with capital markets, funds and asset-management lawyers on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.

The team offers structured training and hands-on deal experience in a busy London office and is looking for someone who wants to develop into a well-rounded structured finance lawyer within a major international practice.

Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience in structured finance or securitization, with demonstrable CLO exposure.
Strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills; comfortable with complex documentation and commercial issues.
Experience on cross-border financings and working with multi-disciplinary teams (capital markets, funds, tax, insolvency).
Excellent academic record, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters under tight deadlines.
