Growing structured finance group in Los Angeles seeks a transactional associate with 2–6 years of experience to support a broad portfolio of securitizations and structured financings. The team works on residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed transactions (including niche/esoteric assets), CLOs, repackagings, re-securitizations and related financings.

This is a hands-on, deal-driven role for a collaborative associate who can manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. The group offers formal training, mentoring and opportunities to work on complex, market-leading transactions.

2–6 years of transactional or finance experience, ideally with structured finance exposure (RMBS, CMBS, ABS, CLOs or related products)
J.D. and membership in the state bar for the office (or eligibility to obtain membership)
Strong academic record, superior written and oral communication skills
Team-oriented, able to manage multiple deals and client needs under deadline pressure
