Top-tier German law firm’s Hamburg office is hiring an associate to join a well-established tax practice advising domestic and international investors, banks, corporates and public-sector clients across the full spectrum of tax law.

The role covers tax structuring and transactional support (including M&A), reorganisations and restructurings, international tax matters, opinion work and representation in tax proceedings and audits. You will work on national and cross-border mandates and have opportunities for international secondments within the firm’s global network.

The team combines technical depth with pragmatism; the position offers structured mentoring, tailored professional development and flexible working arrangements.

Qualified lawyer with at least satisfactory state examination results
Practical experience in tax law is preferred
Fluent English (experience abroad desirable)
Additional qualifications such as LL.M. or doctorate welcomed
Strategic, solution-oriented thinker with strong teamwork and communication skills
