Associate — Tax (Los Angeles)

Growing tax practice seeking associates to join the Los Angeles office. The group handles a mix of tax issues across strategic private equity and M&A transactions, capital markets matters, investment fund formation and real estate/REIT matters.

Successful candidates will have strong technical tax research and writing skills, excellent oral and interpersonal abilities, top academic credentials, and a collaborative mindset. The role offers client-facing work, opportunities to present at national tax forums, and regular in-office collaboration with colleagues.

• Law school class years 2020–2023 (early-associate level)
• Strong tax research, writing and analytical skills
• Experience or demonstrated interest in private equity/M&A, capital markets (including spin-offs/IPO work), fund formation, or real estate/REIT matters
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable with client contact and public speaking
• Top academic credentials and ability to handle complex, novel tax issues
