Leading global law firm is recruiting a Tax Associate to join its Madrid tax practice. The role offers broad exposure to Spanish and international tax matters across corporate and transactional work, working closely with corporate teams on M&A, restructurings and related due diligence.

The post is designed for a generalist tax lawyer who will handle corporate income tax, transactional tax, indirect tax (VAT) matters, assist with tax audits and administrative proceedings, and contribute to firm-wide knowledge sharing and business development. The team values collaborative, commercially minded advisers with strong technical drafting and communication skills.

Law degree and Spanish legal qualification.
2–4 years post-qualification experience in tax (Big Four or reputable law firm experience preferred).
Practical experience in transactional tax and M&A, plus exposure to indirect tax (VAT) desirable.
Fluent written and spoken English; strong drafting and client‑facing skills.
