Associate — Tax (Real Estate / REIT) — Washington, D.C.

Seeking associates (law school class years 2022 and above) to join a leading firm's tax group in Washington, D.C., with a focus on real estate-related matters, including REIT work. The role involves substantive tax research and analysis on transactional and structuring matters.

Candidates should demonstrate strong technical tax knowledge, an interest and/or experience in real estate tax and REIT issues, excellent writing and oral communication skills, and the ability to approach novel problems creatively and precisely.

• Law school class year 2022 or later (J.D. or equivalent)
• Demonstrable coursework or experience in tax and real estate tax/REIT matters
• Strong legal research, writing and oral advocacy skills
• Top academic credentials and strong analytical ability
