Associate — Tax (Real Estate) — Washington, DC

High-performing law firm seeking associates to join a growing tax practice in the Washington, D.C. office. The group handles sophisticated tax matters with a strong real-estate and REIT focus.

Successful candidates will be expected to conduct technical tax research and analysis, draft clear written work product, and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. The team values creative problem-solving on complex and novel tax issues.

Open to candidates from law school class years 2022 and above with demonstrated interest or experience in real estate tax matters.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; law school class year 2022 or later
• Demonstrated coursework or experience in tax law and strong technical research skills
• Experience or keen interest in real estate tax matters, including REITs
• Excellent writing, oral communication, and analytical abilities; strong academic credentials
