Real Estate Associate — Washington, D.C.

Well-regarded national law firm is seeking mid-level and senior real estate associates to join its Washington, D.C. office. The role offers exposure to a broad transactional real estate practice and opportunities for substantive client work and professional development.

Strong candidates will have experience in one or more of: leasing, mortgage/mezzanine debt (lender or borrower side), joint-venture equity, acquisitions and dispositions, or real estate development. Candidates with solid transactional experience outside of real estate will also be considered.

• Mid- to senior-associate level real estate experience (leasing, mortgage/mezzanine debt, JV equity, acquisitions/dispositions, or development)
• Demonstrated transactional drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage matters, mentor junior lawyers, and collaborate with partners and cross-office teams
• Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills
