Associate — Tax (Renewable Energy) — Washington, D.C.

Mid-level associate opening in a major national tax group focused on renewable energy transactions. The role emphasizes transactional tax work advising developers and investors on tax equity structures and qualification for U.S. federal tax credits.

Successful candidates will join a team offering structured mentorship, hybrid workplace flexibility, and formal professional-development and pro bono programs. Candidates may also be considered for a Houston-based role depending on experience and admission.

Admission to practice in Washington, D.C. and/or Texas is required depending on office; the position may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus. The posted base salary range for this role is $235,000–$365,000 (actual pay depends on experience and other job-related factors).

• Mid-level associate (typical classes 2021–2024) with strong transactional tax experience
• Experience advising on renewable energy transactions, including tax equity and federal tax credit qualification
• High academic achievement and experience in a comparable firm tax practice preferred
• Admission to practice in Washington, D.C. and/or Texas (depending on office choice)
