Associate — Tax (Transactional Corporate) — New York

Growing tax department in the New York office is seeking a transactional associate with 2–5 years' experience handling broad-based corporate transactions. The role sits in a tax group that advises on private equity M&A and financings, joint ventures and strategic alliances, and restructurings for investment funds.

Successful candidates will join a team working on a variety of fund- and sponsor-related matters and will have exposure to complex cross-functional corporate transactional work. This is a hands-on position for attorneys who enjoy transactional drafting, deal execution and working with interdisciplinary teams.

• 2–5 years' post-qualification experience in corporate transactional work
• Experience or strong interest in private equity M&A, financings, joint ventures/strategic alliances, and fund-related restructurings
• Prior law firm transactional experience; strong academic record (top U.S./Canadian law school graduates encouraged to apply)
• Strong drafting, deal-management and teamwork skills
