Top-tier global firm is conducting a national search for a senior associate (minimum 4 years of law-firm experience) to join its transactional tax team in New York. The role focuses on structuring and tax advice for domestic and cross-border M&A, partnership matters, private equity fund work, capital markets and financings.

The team advises a broad client base including multinational corporates, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, domestic companies, joint ventures, SPACs and tax-exempt organizations. You will collaborate with tax lawyers across U.S. and international offices on complex, commercially focused tax issues arising in transactions.

Minimum of 4 years of law-firm experience focused on transactional tax matters
Experience on domestic and cross-border M&A, partnership tax and private equity-related transactions
Comfort working on capital markets and financing-related tax issues
Ability to work collaboratively across offices on complex, client-facing matters
