Associate — Trademark & Copyright, Washington, DC

Join a global law firm’s Washington, D.C. intellectual property team supporting trademark, advertising, copyright and technology matters. The role focuses on litigation and contentious proceedings as well as prosecution, portfolio management and counseling across U.S. and international jurisdictions.

Day-to-day work will include handling U.S. trademark and copyright litigation, TTAB matters, trademark prosecution and clearance, enforcement and client counseling. The team seeks candidates who can produce clear written work, communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and contribute collaboratively on multi-jurisdictional matters.

• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in trademark and copyright matters
• Experience with U.S. trademark & copyright litigation and TTAB proceedings
• Experience in trademark prosecution, portfolio management, enforcement, clearance and counseling
• Outstanding written and oral communication and legal research skills
• Juris Doctor (ABA-accredited) and eligibility to be admitted to the U.S. bar
