Senior transactional role in a growing energy team, focused on upstream oil & gas matters. The role offers exposure to complex, cross-border mandates and significant client contact, working closely with senior lawyers on high‑profile international transactions.

You will join a collaborative practice advising a diverse client base across upstream projects, equity investments and alternative financing structures. The position provides clear progression prospects and responsibility for leading discrete workstreams.

Qualified in England & Wales with 4–6 years PQE
Strong transactional experience in upstream oil & gas (private practice or in‑house)
Proven drafting and negotiation skills across upstream documentation (e.g. concession/PSC, JOAs, farm‑in/farm‑out, unitisation, lifting and gas sales agreements)
Commercial mindset, ability to manage workstreams with increasing autonomy and to work closely with clients
