Associate (US-qualified) — Emerging Companies, London

Top-tier London corporate team is hiring a US‑qualified associate to join its Emerging Companies practice. The group advises high-growth technology, life sciences and other innovative businesses, their investors and founders on venture capital financings, growth M&A, reorganisations, venture debt and exits.

The role sits in the London office and will support cross‑office, national and international matters. There is a growing US offering — the successful candidate will help clients expand into the US, assist with US transactional issues (including Delaware structures and US fundraising) and help shape that practice area.

Applicants must be UK‑based or willing to relocate to the UK. The firm encourages entrepreneurial thinking and offers opportunities to take on responsibility and develop a client-facing role within the emerging companies ecosystem.

• US qualification (JD from a top US law school) and admission/qualification in the US.
• Experience at a US or international firm advising emerging companies and investors on corporate transactional matters.
• Solid background in venture capital and M&A transactions; strong drafting and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, team player, proactive with an interest in business development.
