Attorney — Energy, Regulation & Compliance — Munich

Well‑resourced German full‑service practice is seeking an attorney to join its energy team in Munich. The role focuses on regulatory and compliance matters across energy trading and international trade in power, gas, hydrogen and renewables.

You will advise domestic and international energy companies, traders, exchanges, industrial consumers and investors on regulatory questions, contract drafting and transactions, and represent clients in regulatory proceedings. You will take early client contact and assume responsibility for your matters.

• German legal qualifications with strong exam results
• Entry‑level to junior associate with some experience or demonstrated interest in energy law
• Excellent English (ideally with legal/technical vocabulary)
• Substantive focus in energy law or antitrust/competition law; familiarity with derivatives/derivative trading regulation an advantage
• Strong team orientation, communication skills and strategic thinking
