Attorney, Subrogation & Recovery (Litigation) — New York

Seeking an associate to join a busy Subrogation & Recovery team in New York. The role focuses on insurance subrogation and property-damage civil litigation in federal and state courts, handling single- and multi-party matters.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, working with forensic experts to evaluate claims, preparing for court hearings, and maintaining client and opposing-counsel communications. The team values candidates who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• 2–5 years of litigation experience, with subrogation or plaintiff-side experience a plus
• Active New York law license in good standing
• Strong legal research, writing and oral advocacy skills; experience drafting pleadings and motions
• Ability to manage discovery, coordinate with experts, and handle deposition and hearing preparation
