Join a national, full-service law firm’s insurance coverage group in Costa Mesa. The team defends insurers and related industry clients in complex coverage disputes, including declaratory relief litigation, mediations, and arbitration across state and federal courts.

We are seeking an experienced coverage lawyer to analyze first-party property and general liability coverage issues, prepare coverage opinions, and handle related litigation tasks. The role involves depositions, court appearances, drafting and arguing motions, and collaborative work with colleagues across offices.

8–15 years of experience handling insurance coverage and bad-faith matters or comparable litigation experience
Experience preparing coverage opinions and advising on first-party property and general liability claims
Active admission to the California Bar
Proven litigation skills — depositions, hearings, motion practice — and strong legal research and writing
Comfort working in a hybrid office model
