Apply in confidence →Join a national banking & finance team from the Leeds office, working on leveraged finance, corporate lending, asset and real‑estate finance and related transactions. The role offers exposure to both bilateral and syndicated deals and regular interaction with lenders, borrowers, sponsors and intermediaries across the transaction lifecycle.
The position is focused on leveraged finance and growth lending/venture debt, with responsibility for drafting and negotiating facilities agreements, security and intercreditor documentation, and dealing with in‑life matters such as waivers, resets and restatements. You will work as part of an established national team while helping to develop the local practice.
The team emphasises hands‑on deal experience, matter ownership for early‑career lawyers and opportunities to contribute to client development in a supportive, people‑centric environment.
- 1–4 years PQE in leveraged finance, cashflow or general banking experience.
- Practical experience drafting and negotiating facilities, security and intercreditor documentation (LMA and non‑LMA forms).
- Comfort liaising with lenders, borrowers, sponsors and intermediaries across the full transaction lifecycle.
- Proactive, client‑focused approach and a desire to develop into take‑hand responsibility on credit agreements.
