National banking team seeks a qualified associate (4–7 PQE) to join a busy Finance & Banking practice. The role offers exposure to a broad mix of lending work including acquisition finance, real estate finance, project finance, asset‑based lending and general banking transactions.

The team routinely advises UK lenders, challenger banks, specialist debt funds and corporate borrowers on complex financings and cross‑border matters. The position is part of a national group and can be based in Birmingham (with options to work from other regional offices); hybrid and flexible working are supported.

Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent) with 4–7 years PQE
Demonstrable banking & finance experience (facility agreements, LMA style documentation, credit agreements)
Strong technical drafting, negotiation and attention to detail
Effective client engagement, teamwork and ability to manage work under pressure
Motivation for ongoing development and involvement in business development activities
