Short-term (2 month), full-time hybrid role within a financial‑services organisation based in Melbourne. You will join a dedicated flexible legal resourcing team to provide high‑quality banking and finance advice to internal stakeholders and external advisers on domestic and cross‑border matters.

The role focuses on transactional and regulatory work, including complex lending structures, secondary debt trading, insolvency and restructuring implementation, and related financial‑services regulatory issues. The team expects someone who can work autonomously, engage with external advisers, and deliver pragmatic, commercial legal solutions.

Minimum 7 years' post‑qualification experience in banking & finance.
Proven transactional experience with complex finance structures, secondary trading and insolvency/restructuring processes.
Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory and insolvency frameworks.
Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills; able to work autonomously and hit the ground running.
Current practising certificate and right to live and work in Australia.
