Top-tier U.S. law firm is seeking a Benefits & Compensation Associate to join its employee benefits team in Minneapolis (options for placement in other U.S. offices may be available). The role focuses on counseling employers on health & welfare plan compliance, 401(k) and other retirement plan matters, and related ERISA work.

You will collaborate frequently with corporate, labor & employment, tax, health, and ERISA-litigation colleagues and have regular client-facing interaction with in-house counsel and HR professionals. The team handles steady regulatory-driven work and offers a collaborative environment with competitive compensation and benefits.

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • At least 4 years of benefits & compensation experience in a law firm or consulting firm
  • Strong analytical, writing, and client-service skills
  • Bar admission in the state of hire or ability to obtain admission
  • Top academic credentials
