Business Restructuring & Reorganization Associate — Los Angeles

Growing restructuring practice in Los Angeles seeks an associate with 4–6 years' experience in Chapter 11 bankruptcies and corporate reorganizations. The role involves working on complex Chapter 11 matters across debtor, creditor committee, creditor and purchaser-side representations.

Ideal candidates will come from a leading restructuring practice or have clerked for a bankruptcy judge, and will be comfortable managing day-to-day client workstreams and contributing to case strategy. The team offers comprehensive benefits and support for career development.

• 4–6 years' post-qualification experience in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and corporate restructuring matters
• Experience representing corporate debtors, creditor committees, individual creditors and/or purchasers in Chapter 11 cases
• Prior experience in a corporate restructuring/bankruptcy group at a comparable firm or a bankruptcy clerkship preferred
• Strong client management and case-handling skills; excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school
