International law firm is hiring Capital Markets Associates for its Beijing and Shanghai offices to join the Greater China equity and debt capital markets team. The role involves working on IPOs and other equity/debt issuance across Greater China, liaising with regulators and exchanges, and supporting cross-border transaction execution.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documentation, conducting regulatory and corporate governance research, coordinating with onshore and offshore teams, and participating in client discussions. The role is fast-paced and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters to tight deadlines.

3–5 years' PQE in capital markets at a reputable law firm
Strong academic background in law
Fluent in Mandarin and English
Proven experience on equity IPOs and/or debt capital markets transactions; excellent drafting and negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across cross-border teams
