An established firm's Capital Markets team is seeking an Associate with experience in public equity and/or debt offerings to join its San Francisco office (candidates in New York or Boston may also be considered). The team focuses on capital-raising transactions for technology and life‑sciences companies and regularly advises issuers, investment banks, venture capital funds and institutional investors.

Work will include drafting and negotiating offering documents, disclosures and related securities filings, and supporting clients through IPOs and other public and private capital markets transactions. The role offers exposure to sophisticated, market-facing matters and mentorship from senior capital-markets lawyers.

2–3 years' securities/capital markets experience at a major or peer law firm
Experience with public securities offerings (equity and/or debt)
Bar membership in the state where the candidate will practice
Strong academic credentials, excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Motivated, client-focused, and entrepreneurial outlook
